Sinew is waxed polyester and is 3 or 4 ply (I'm not sure- the company says both), but for sure it can be split quite fine. It comes in Natural, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Black and White. Natural sometimes looks beige and sometimes looks gold, as seen in product photos. n nYard lengths are approximate
